Recycle Mania

Recycle Mania is an on-campus event created by a group of Sustainability students at Daemen. The event features a competition encouraging students to become more conscientious about their recycling habits. The professor of sustainability tasked me with creating promotional materials for the event, a poster and postcard take-aways. The students planned on creating a “recycle man” mascot, so I decided create a design playing off of Saul Bass’ “Golden Arm”, making a Green Arm’d Man instead. I chose the vibrant color scheme so that the posters could be easily scene all over campus and also to create a sense of playfulness the competition was hoping to inspire.
