Local Sprouts

Local Sprouts is an organic restaurant/café co-op located in the heart of Portland, Maine, where I grew up. I chose to rebrand this restaurant for one of my senior projects because it exemplifies the things I love most about my hometown.

For this project, I wanted to highlight three specific aspects of the restaurant: organic, clean, and friendly. I selected a font with a hand rendered character to emphasize the natural, organic ingredients they highlight in their food. I chose a minimalistic color scheme to compliment the cleanliness of the restaurant itself. And finally, in order to emphasize the friendly vibes of the whole experience, I created a cute, “sprouting” logo mark to tie everything together.
