Hello! My name is Meghan Cyr, and I am a Graphic Designer in Buffalo, NY. I am currently seeking a full-time position as a designer. I graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Daemen College, as well as a concentrated minor in Entrepreneurship.

I pride myself on my listening skills and enjoy working through new and challenging situations. I am comfortable working both by myself and within a team, I am a fast learner, and most importantly, I enjoy solving problems.

In 2015, I held an internship with the Buffalo Museum of Science that evolved into a contracting relationship following graduation. I created promotional material for museum events and signage for various exhibits. Projects ranged from digital advertisements to large-scale in house print materials. I have also had the privilege of working with theBrewroom, a local SEO and web design firm, on projects varying from company branding to website redesigns.

Beyond my work as a designer, I volunteer for CreativingMorningsBuf, the Buffalo chapter of the international organization CreativeMornings. My volunteer work spans many disciplines, including design, social media marketing, and event-day coordination.

Per my love for information and growth, I have an obsession with podcasts and plants. I also enjoying hand lettering and practicing various letter forms . I’m into yoga, biking, photography, playing my ukulele, and all things local and organic. I grew up in Portland, Maine before coming to Buffalo for school. Since graduating college I have enjoyed getting involved in creative groups in my community such as CreativeMorningsBuf and AIGA Buffalo, and am eager to continue to grow my life and career here in Buffalo.

Let’s get in touch!
